Astonishing X-Men: Ghost Boxes #2

In the ultimate spirit of the "What If…" Marvel magic the talented Warren Ellis writes book two in the Astonishing off shoot Ghost Boxes.  Along with Clayton Crain and Kaare Andrews  on the pencils Warren again works his mojo on the mutants.  I almost didn’t pick up Ghost Boxes #1 but the guys at the comic shop were ranting on about it and I just couldn’t resist…those guys are like used car salesmen I swear.  Anyways, I picked it up and I wasn’t disappointed.  The art is fantastic and the storyline behind the ghost box being a gateway to other dimensions really gave Ellis an excuse to put the X-Men into some super badass, other time, other place situations and while I don’t want to give him too much credit…usually if it comes out of his head, in my experience, you can expect good things.

Thank CBR for the panels:

Trying to figure out how to stop wasting so much money on Warren Ellis books,
